Our History

Following exploration and survey studies conducted within the boundaries of Kara Mustafa Village, in the central district of Gümüşhane Province, the potential of the region was confirmed. In the same year, infrastructure works were completed and trial production commenced with a capacity of 150 tons per hour.

The legal establishment process of Yıldız Bakır Madencilik A.Ş. was completed, and the company began operating under the umbrella of Yıldızlar SSS Holding. In the initial phase, the production and enrichment processes were systematized, and the organizational structure for personnel was established.

Flotation efficiency was enhanced through technical improvements made in the enrichment facilities. Environmental impact assessment processes were successfully completed, and rehabilitation zones along with waste management systems were put into operation.

Otomasyon sistemleri ile üretim süreçleri dijitalleştirildi. Madencilik izleme yazılımları ve veri analiz sistemleri devreye alındı. Çalışan eğitimleri artırılarak iş sağlığı ve güvenliği standartları daha da güçlendirildi.

Significant steps have been taken toward environmental sustainability through energy efficiency projects and waste recovery investments. Regional development has been supported by increasing local employment, implementing social responsibility initiatives, and providing educational support.

Full integration was achieved with the corporate governance systems of Yıldızlar SSS Holding. Production lines at the facilities were expanded, the number of technical personnel was increased, and a transition to international reporting standards was implemented.

The sustainable production approach in mining operations was strengthened, and new exploration licenses expanded the production areas. Investments in technological innovations enhanced efficiency and enabled the implementation of processes that minimize environmental impact.

Yıldız Bakır Madencilik continues its journey with determination as a company operating on an area exceeding 19 million m², with high-efficiency production capacity and a strong commitment to environmentally friendly practices.
